How do I setup my personal web page directory?

Solution:

First the directory (public_html) needs to be created then permission granted to be viewed. Here's the easy way to do that.

• With a TELNET program enter the following address (you can try clicking the link to see if you have an application already configured for this):

  TELNET: buffnet3.buffnet.net

• Log in with your username and password

• Hit ENTER for the TERMINAL TYPE

• From the first menu choose PW for "PERSONAL WEB" and hit ENTER

• Choose "A" to create your web directory, then hit ENTER

• Choose "D" to set the directory's permissions, then hit ENTER

• Now choose "L" to LOGOFF
