BuffNET Setup Instructions for:
MS Windows-NT 4.0

To establish a TCP/IP connection to BuffNET with Windows NT 4.0 you will use the Dial-Up Networking (DUN) option in My Computer. Although a Win-NT 4 Base Install SHOULD be sufficient to access BuffNET, we HIGHLY recommend having installed at LEAST Service Pack 3 from Microsoft. BuffNET cannot assist you with any Windows-Related problems you may experience.

In order to configure NT DUN to connect to BuffNET several steps are involved, your Windows NT CD ROM may be needed during the installation process. Please make sure you have your registered copy on hand at all times during the setup process. Remember, after installing any files from of your NT setup disks you must reinstall the latest service pack(s) to ensure proper operation according to Microsoft specifications.

Note: If you are on a local area network (LAN) and install DUN, you may create a conflict which interrupts your computer's connection to your network. Please ask your network administrator for assistance before installing DUN.
