The first step in joining BuffNET is choosing a username or login name. This is the first part of your email address, before "@buffnet.net." A login name of "joe" would give you an email address of "joe@buffnet.net." If you are familiar with AOL, your "User Name" would be synonymous with "Screen Name."

Your BuffNET login must be between three and eight characters long, consisting of lower-case letters. It can also include numbers if you want it to, but it cannot start with a number.
